Joshua Perkin -Shuckburgh, 1990-, is one of the most prominent figures in the current art scene. Through his compositions, Perkin deals with themes such as the dichotomy between love and hate, celebration and mourning, joy and sadness. The characters depicted do not have a defined race, and are located in architectures and landscapes that are difficult to locate both geographically and temporally.
This lack of explicit information generates questions that remain without apparent answers, and invites the viewer to continue developing the narrative of each scene individually.
